Two Cities Review

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

Two Cities Review is looking for high-quality fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction that bridges the gap between forms, genres, or realities. We interpret this loosely, but are especially excited by work that crosses form or genre in a new and exciting way.

What to Submit:

Send fiction and creative nonfiction of no more than 3,000 words. You may submit multiple short prose pieces within one document as long as the total word count is not over 3,000 words. Send up to 5 poems in one document, totaling no more that 3,000 words. Please send only one submission at a time, regardless of genre, and wait to hear back from us before submitting again. We accept simultaneous submissions and will contact you before publishing your work, but please withdraw your submission immediately through Submittable's "Withdraw" function if it is accepted elsewhere. If you wish to withdraw parts of a submission but not all, such as poems, please make a note on your original submission in Submittable.

Please include a cover letter in the provided space (not within the body of your submission) and submit your writing as a .doc, .docx, .pages, or .pdf file.

General submissions are open at certain times throughout the year; submissions plus a donation are available year-round. We appreciate the support to help keep our magazine going. We are not making money through this donation, but it helps us pay for our website and Submittable account.
